Join artist Nermine Hammam, curator Rose Issa and cultural operator Yasmine Allam in conversation about Hammam’s new exhibition Cairo, Year One on:

Hammam lives and works in Cairo. Her works are intricate composites of layered images and symbols, using a distinctive aesthetic that combines digital manipulation and painting. This timely solo exhibition will feature two of her most recent series of work, Upekkha and Unfolding, which look at the recent civil unrest and uprisings in Egypt.
Yasmine Allam is the founder of Profile PR and a cultural operator working with artists and arts organisations in Egypt.
Rose Issa is a curator, writer and producer who has championed visual art and film from the Arab world and Iran for nearly 30 years.
