THE MOSAIC ROOMS SUPPER CLUB

11/10/12

The Mosaic Rooms launches a new programme celebrating Middle Eastern food and the stories and traditions that surround cooking and eating.

One of the first in the autumn season will be an intimate event led by Sarah al-Hamad: a ‘Cardamom & Lime’ themed three course dinner on:

Thursday 11th October 2012, from 6.30-10.30pm.

Guests will have the opportunity to help prepare several of the recipes, watch Sarah cook and learn about the ingredients typically used in Kuwaiti and Syrian cuisine.

Sarah al-Hamad is a writer, photographer, home cook and the author of Cardamom and Lime: Recipes from the Arabian Gulf (New Holland). Growing up in Kuwait, some of her earliest memories are of her aunt’s bustling kitchen and her dad eating dates with buttermilk. Her passion for learning about cultures through food is revealed in her new book Sun Bread and Sticky Toffee: Date Desserts from Everywhere is published Spring 2013.

The event will take place in a secret West London location, to be disclosed on booking. Upon making your booking please send an email to reception@mosaicrooms.org so that we can provide you with the supper club address.

Tickets: £40 (3 course meal with wine). Limited to 10 places.

SOLD OUT!

The next supper club by Sarah will be an Arabian High Chai on 11th November, from 3-6pm. Buy tickets now!
